At our Malaysian Global Delivery Centre, we work with clients from around the world to deliver engineering services in the industries of defence and cybersecurity to meet our customer's needs.


What you will be doing:

  • Ability to show leadership to a team providing career management and technical mentorship to your team
  • Long term goal to be a leader in system architecture and senior stakeholder engagements, initially this will be done alongside a senior mentor
  • Working within an agile scrum team with a focus on frontend development work
  • Analysing user requirements to help design effective user interfaces
  • Developing high quality frontend code with standard quality practices such as peer reviews and unit testing
  • Some project roles will require inbrowser 3D modelling and rendering
  • Supporting high level estimation and planning activities follow Agile software methodologies
  • Debugging issues raised by the client and test teams to ensure swift resolution

Role requirements:

  • At least 8 years' experience in a development role including use of FE technologies
  • Excellent English verbal communication skills, should be comfortable presenting to an international audience of senior stakeholders

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience with ReactJS, Redux and React Hooks
  • Experience with Django or FastAPI
  • Experience with GraphQL
  • Experience with OpenGL or other 3D rendering/modelling technologies
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD technologies
  • Experience working with Cloud deployments
