IT Executive

Responsibilities:

IT Process Development and Management:

The role of the IT Executive is pivotal in maintaining the organization's information technology systems and infrastructure. Ensuring to align with the organization's present and future objectives. The IT Executive collaborates with various departments to understand their technology needs and provides effective solutions.

Infrastructure Maintenance:

Manage and maintain servers, desktops, laptops, and storage systems for optimal performance and availability in day-to-day operations.

Perform various system administration and support tasks, including installations, testing, documentation, maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting.

Backup and Recovery:

Ensure successful backup of all required file systems and system data to appropriate media.

Take remedial action in case of failed backups to prevent reoccurrence and ensure restorability in case of data loss.

Security Measures:

Develop and implement security measures to protect computer networks from unauthorized access.

Utilize firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and antivirus software to enhance network security.

Task Ownership and Project Management:

Take full ownership of assigned tasks, overseeing the entire process from requirement identification to solution implementation.

Perform solution planning, workflow planning, documentation, communication, coordination, progress tracking, and reporting.

Server and Storage Management:

Manage servers and storage according to industry standards and best practices, ensuring reliability and scalability.

Data Management:

Ensuring that data is accurate, available, secure, and accessible to those who need it within an organization.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar IT role.
• Experience in ISO is preferred.
• Have practical experience managing IT assets, dealing with servers, cloud computing, networks, security, firewalls, and virtual machines.
• Excel in interpersonal skills, making it easy to collaborate with leaders across departments.
• Demonstrate strategic thinking, adept problemsolving skills, and all vital for success in this role
