JOB DESCRIPTION



POSITION:
AUTHORISED GAS TESTER

REQUIREMENT:

  • Certified as an Authorised Gas Tester.
years' experience in confined space field.

  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu.
  • Familiar with confined space regulations and hazard identifications.
  • Own a transport and willing to travel.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify all hazards and recommend control measures to ensure safe entry.
  • Test and interrupt gas reading levels in confined spaces.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as obtained in the Code of Working Safety in a Confined Space 2010.
  • Be knowledgeable of all confined space entry equipment.
  • Regulate work on site.
  • Organize the work of craftsmen or construction workers.
  • Record project activities every day in the site diary.
  • Report work progress to the manager. It will record the percentage of work quantity, make sub con measurements, and provide information to the project manager.
  • Served as "Caretaker" for confined space work.
  • Acts as an "Authorized Person" to enter confined spaces for maintenance work within the confined space.
