The British International School of Kuala Lumpur (BSKL) is a premier international school in Kuala Lumpur serving students from pre-nursery through to sixth form.

Academic Results

  • BSKL Primary students regularly exceed expectations, and our Year 6 students perform an average of 10 points better than their international school peers on end of year assessments.
  • Amongst our IGCSE cohort 92% of all grades achieved were A*, A, or B and 100% of all grades achieved a C or higher in 202 100% pass rate on Alevels and 77% of all grades achieved were A*, A, or B in 202
  • Previous university placements include Oxford University, St. Andrew's University, University College London, London School of Economics, King's College London, Imperial College, Durham University, University of Edinburgh, California Berkeley and Barnard College, Columbia University, New York.

About the role
With 6 specialists, students can currently opt to take Drama & Music at IGCSE and Music at A-Level.

In the future we hope to expand this to also offer Dance qualifications and further the Drama provision into Year 13.


It is expected that there will also be a requirement to teach components of the PE curriculum in addition to Dance, until the Dance programme has been fully rolled out.
