Facilitate a work environment that supports a safe and healthy culture.

  • Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment.
  • Perform safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
  • Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and necessary changes.
  • Coordinate employee safety and health programs to determine their adequacy including review of short
- & long-term strategic safety planning and development.

  • Coordinate safety data from operations and develop safety report on monthly basis.
  • Conduct internal audits according to schedule, Supplier Workplace Accountability (SWA), OPEX and any other relevant audits and ensure all corrective actions are duly closed within timeline and demonstrate continual improvement.
  • Coordinate yearly evacuation drill and prepare drill report and update Emergency Preparedness Plan as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • To ensure Distribution Centre/ Warehouse is complying with GWP / SWA / DQMP standards.
  • Perform general preventive maintenance and corrective repairs of the building, system and grounds including daytoday repairs and emergency maintenance.
  • To carry out daytoday checklist and maintenance schedule.
  • Receive and respond in timely manner on work orders, maintenance report and complains.
  • Supervise & monitor vendor maintenance work and report it accordingly.
  • Always maintain adherence to the safety procedure and comply with SHE requirement.
  • Immediate respond on emergency regarding building & company facility.
  • Report any noncompliance in Warehouse regarding Safety.
  • To assist on any other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of people at different levels.

Job Type:
Contract

Contract length: 4-5 months

Salary:
RM4, RM4,500.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Early shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Klang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
