South East Asia is a region of continued focus for the Group and this is a key person hire based out of Kuala Lumpur focusing on developing the Malaysia consumer / retail businesses under the direct purview of the Country CEO & Board. The hire will lead ~20+ staff & cover the spectrum across consumer lending including BNPL, cash loans, etc. E

Enabled by a stable book of entirely digital unsecured lending, the Group is also looking to build consumer secured lending through partnerships. The role, therefore in addition to growing the stable book of online portfolio, includes developing new business through strategic offline channels.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years (VP-SVP equivalent in Banking) in Malaysia consumer lending in a P&L, cash lending, product or credit capacity
  • Experience in fintech, unsecured, mobile wallets, payments & partnership development shall be advantageous
  • Team build & hands-on management experience
  • Tech-savvy, forward thinking, professional and academic pedigree
