Key Responsibilities

Algae Cultivation Research: Conduct experimental research to optimize conditions for algae growth, including nutrient formulations, light exposure, temperature control, and CO2 absorption efficiency.

Yield Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to maximize algae biomass production and protein content.

Chemical Analysis: Perform detailed chemical analyses of algae samples to monitor growth parameters, nutritional content, and biofuel potential.

Process Development: Design and refine processes for scaling up algae cultivation from laboratory to industrial scale, ensuring consistency and efficiency.

Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data, and prepare comprehensive reports to guide product development.

Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to integrate findings into the overall carbon capture solution.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure all laboratory activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience in a laboratory setting, with a focus on algae research, biochemistry, or environmental science.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in chemical analysis techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, and mass spectrometry. Experience with bioreactors and algae cultivation systems is a plus.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable insights.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and present findings to diverse stakeholders.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

RM2, RM4,000.00 per month
