Key Responsibilities:

Middleware Design and Implementation:

  • Design and implement middleware solutions to facilitate communication and data flow between various banking systems.
  • Collaborate with architecture and development teams to ensure the middleware aligns with overall system architecture.

Middleware Administration:

  • Perform routine and proactive administration tasks for middleware components, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Monitor middleware servers, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions in a timely manner.

Integration Management:

Performance Optimization:

  • Optimize middleware performance through configuration adjustments, tuning, and proactive monitoring.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure middleware resources meet system demands.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and maintain security measures for middleware components to protect data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary updates and patches.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

  • Identify and resolve middlewarerelated issues promptly to minimize impact on banking operations.

Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of middleware configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Create and update documentation for middlewarerelated best practices.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

  • Communicate technical information to nontechnical stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Middleware Specialist or in a similar role within the banking industry.
  • Indepth knowledge of middleware technologies such as IBM WebSphere, Apache Kafka, or Oracle WebLogic.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, messaging protocols, and serviceoriented architecture (SOA).
  • Experience with security protocols, compliance standards, and best practices for middleware.
  • Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
