DEPARTMENT :
RETAIL PLANNING_

1. MAIN FUNCTIONS

  • To allocate the proper merchandise mix (STA) for individual boutique to achieve estimated sales, GP% and stock turns based on company annual OTB vs Sales.
  • To generate information to enable fast placing repeat orders to maximize off take.
  • To recommend, coordinate, control and supervise inventory level / movements to meet company annual target.
  • Monthly updating of MTD and YTD purchase plan vs actual in stock for monitoring, submission and review to HOD.

2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1 To selects relevant items will be stocked in a store, based on criteria such as:

  • Historical data analysis and market trends
  • Article sales/stock performance
  • Article selling period
  • MOl / DOI
  • Dollar/ sqft

2 To analyze the sales performance report for:

  • Coming season reference.
  • To modify stock standard or to initiate stock transfers.
  • To control stock movements and ensure that they are taking place according to schedule.
  • To recommend price reductions/ promotion on slow moving items.
  • To propose sales action, regrouping and pricing for liquidation article
2.3 In charge seasonal buying based on approved OTB.

2.4 To frequently visit boutique to assess merchandise as planned.


2.5 To establish and maintain weekly communications with Sales team, in order to define the right volume of repeat orders to be placed.


2.6 To co-ordinate with supply chain to ensure production lead time, ETA/ETD on scheduled to ensure launching date in secured.


2.7 To plan the stock arrangement for new opening of boutique/ counter or fair based on product range and forecasted ATV, AUP, UPT and targeted GP%.


2.8 To involve in product training to sales team and support in visual merchandise during new launching or special promo.


3. KEY RELATIONSHIP

  • Designer, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Financial, MIS and Consumer

Salary:
RM4, RM6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • TTDI: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer provided relocation package (preferred)

Education:

  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

Experience:

  • Fashion & Retail planning: 2 years (preferred)
