Junior Trader

JOB FUNCTIONS:

- _ Build a strong supplier network to ensure consistent quality, supply and competitive prices. Work closely with the Trader to source, negotiate and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers, including price negotiations and terms and conditions._
- _ Cooperate with trade/execution of annual volume of CPO procurement 260,000mt. Cooperate with trade/execution of annual volume of CPKO procurement 80,200mt. And contribute good execution of trades_
- _ Involve in daily raw material receiving and planning matters. Ensure consistent supply of CPO to meet the needs of the production plant_
- _ Maintain and build external network of raw material suppliers and by-product customers _
- _Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure smooth execution on all trades _
- _Close collaboration with planning and quality team to plan procurement of CPOs_
- _ Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and delivery schedules_
- _ Ensure supply of CPO meets the sustainability requirement and TTP/VDF guidelines. Work closely and engage the Bunge sustainability team during_ with suppliers to ensure all sustainability requirements are adhered to and achieve better sustainability scores.
- _Basic risk management, position confirmation, futures hedging and paper trading_

Qualities/Skills

• Bachelor's degree and above with 2 years of experience in Palm and CPO industry
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, strong multitasking skills, able to work independently with mínimal supervision and with sense of urgency.
• Logical and analytical skills for Physical trading and risk management
• Capable, enthusiastic and strong communication & people management experience.
• Fluent in English speaking & writing
