JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE:

Tanker Driver

DEPARTMENT:

Supervisor - Logistics / Manager - Transport

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To drive ISO tanker truck with capacity of above 20MT in safe & courteous manner.
  • To deliver goods to customer safely and utilized apps / system assigned for delivery data entry at all time.
  • To manage, handle & operate pumping activities at customer site safely and ensure equipment are in working conditions.
  • Report any vehicle and pump maintenance issues to Logistics Supervisor immediately.
  • Conduct daily vehicle Post-Drive check (PDC), record found issues and communicate to Logistics Supervisor for approval before proceed for trip taking.
  • Comply to required rules and regulations including APAD ICOP, proper PPE in warehouse and customer site while on duty.
  • Comply to gazette speed limit on the road (highway / trunk road) or inside customer premises.
  • Ensure vehicle idling being controlled below target set by management.
  • To compile and return all Delivery Orders & Return Note (CA) to supervisor in weekly basis without fail.
  • To ensure the company assigned Diesel card and Touch N Go card are well kept and no unauthorized usages.
  • To notify Logistics Supervisor on any attendance issue such as MC / EL / lateness immediately without fail.
  • To ensure daily clockin and clockout in the Thumbprint Attendance Recorder machine without fail.
  • To ensure the cleanliness of assigned vehicle.
  • Reads & interprets maps & driving directions to plan the most efficient route service.
  • Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Experience in handling chemical products such as Caustic Soda, Hydrochloric Acid and Sodium Hypochlorite are preferable.
  • Experience in handling chemical spillage and operate a diesel engine drive pump would be added advantage.
  • Proficient in using Waze / Google Maps.
  • Possess E Full Class driving license & GDL.
  • Possess good driving skills and clean traffic records.
  • Possess good discipline, personality & time management.

Pay:
RM1, RM1,600.00 per month
