Position Summary:

The Buyer for Corporate Indirect Procurement will work closely with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives by working together to source suppliers who can deliver quality service and products at the best value.

This involves understanding the business needs, agreeing and managing the sourcing process, analyzing options, concluding negotiations and contracting. The role will primarily support the APAC region, but not exclusively.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead sourcing events in line with Energizers Strategic Sourcing Approach; including data collection, RFI and RFP's, utilizing the Ariba eprocurement system.
  • Responsible for sourcing suppliers and services, managing negotiations.
  • Both supports and independently executes supplier negotiations, including: Contract renewals, cost reduction, value creation and cash flow improvement.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand and plan future needs.
  • Conduct quantitative analysis and reporting using Excel and other systems.
  • Implements procurement strategies, goals and savings targets in line with company strategy, stakeholder needs and procurement bestpractices.
  • Demonstrates expertise in benchmark and shouldcost analyses using competitive intelligence and reports.
  • Demonstrates expertise and flexibility in the use of Energizer's strategic sourcing process.
  • Supports risk and compliance program management.
  • Demonstrates good knowledge of negotiation tools/techniques and applies them regularly.
  • Manages sophisticated analysis (including financial) and business cases.
  • Tracks procurement performance metrics.

What we are looking for:

  • Ideally a bachelor's degree holder.
  • Minimum of 12 years of procurement experience.
  • Technical exposure to indirect procurement preferred.
  • Selfmotivated with demonstrated success to drive, manage and implement projects.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across countries.
  • Passionate in developing and maintaining relationships beyond being "in person".
  • Reasonable commercial and legal understanding of contracts.
  • Experienced working remotely away from direct management.
  • Capability to coordinate multiple projects.
  • Experienced in quantitative analysis using Microsoft Excel.
  • Experienced working with SAP and Ariba.
  • Strategic, critical and analytical thinking with demonstrated results.
  • High proficiency in oral and written communication skills. Possess the flair to present in businessfriendly language.
  • Ability to set priorities and make decisions.
