Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the financial and management accounts of at least one business unit, in compliance with MFRS accounting standards.
  • Responsible for the product costing of the business unit/(s) under their purview, comprises of standard, estimate and actual.
  • Responsible for Profit/Loss forecast (periodical or adhoc), estimate and annual budgeting of the business unit/(s) under their purview.
  • Collaborate with external Tax Agent and inhouse Tax Manager for taxation matters including tax filing, tax audits, transfer pricing Master File and Local File documentation relating to the business unit/(s) under their purview.
  • Consolidation or Group reporting for the business unit/(s) under their purview.
  • Assist in Consolidation of Group Financial Reporting.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Professional qualification in Finance and Accounting such as ACCA
  • Member of MIA
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in auditing or accounting preferably in a large firm.

Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge

  • Display a high degree of accuracy, attention to details and the discipline to follow through on outstanding matters.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with employees and stakeholders, as well as with external stakeholders.
  • Experienced in executing and improving policies and procedures.
  • Good command of the Microsoft package especially MS Excel.
  • Experience with major ERP environment is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
