Cost Estimation:
Conduct thorough cost analysis for carpentry projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project specifications and requirements.

Quantity Takeoff:
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for carpentry materials, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Utilize construction drawings and specifications to quantify the required materials and labor for each project.

Budget Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring that projects stay within approved financial limits.
Provide regular cost reports to project teams, highlighting any potential cost overruns and recommending cost-saving measures.

Supplier and Subcontractor Negotiation:
Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices for carpentry materials.
Collaborate with subcontractors, obtaining quotes and negotiating contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Risk Assessment:
Identify and assess potential risks that may impact project costs and timelines.
Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Value Engineering:
Explore opportunities for value engineering to optimize costs without compromising on quality.
Propose alternative materials or construction methods to achieve cost savings.

Project Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation related to cost estimates, budgets, and change orders.
Work closely with project teams to ensure that all variations are documented and accounted for.

Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that carpentry work meets industry standards and client expectations.
Monitor the impact of quality on project costs and adjust estimates accordingly.

Salary:
RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
