Photographer/videographer

Maverick International School is currently seeking a skilled, creative and passionate Photographer/Videographer to join our team as a key member of our media department.

We are looking for someone with an artistic eye, attention to detail, and a strong command of photography & videography techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Capture highquality photographs and videos of school events, student activities, and classroom interactions.
• Create visually compelling images and videos that tell a story and align with the school's brand and objectives.
• Edit, retouch, and postproduce photos and videos to enhance their quality and impact.
• Conceptualize, plan, and execute photo/video shoots to meet the school's photography and videography needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, students, and staff to identify photography and videography opportunities and ensure comprehensive coverage of key moments.
• Maintain an organized database of photos and videos, ensuring proper archiving and accessibility for future use.
• Stay updated with the latest photography and videography trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality of work.
• Assist with photoshoots and video shoots for promotional materials, marketing campaigns, and social media platforms.
• Manage and maintain photography and videography equipment, ensuring proper functioning and organization of files.
• Assist with live streaming and recording of school events as required.
• Work closely with the marketing and media departments to coordinate photography and videography needs for various projects.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Qualification, or relevant experience in photography/videography or a related field.
• Proven experience as a photographer and videographer, with a portfolio demonstrating a strong command of both disciplines.
• Proficiency in using professional photography and videography equipment.
• Solid knowledge of photo and video editing software and techniques.
• Strong artistic and creative skills, with the ability to capture and compose visually appealing images and videos.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work closely with teachers, students, staff, and marketing/media teams.
• Uptodate knowledge of photography and videography trends, equipment, and software.
• Flexibility to work outside regular office hours, including evenings and weekends, to cover school events and activities.
