Job description

  • Create accurate and detailed mechanical and electrical drawings based on project requirements, specifications, and standards.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to interpret design concepts into technical drawings.
  • Review and revise drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards.
  • Incorporate feedback from the engineering team to refine and improve drawings.
  • Work closely with engineers to understand project objectives and translate them into technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with other drafters and designers to ensure consistency and coordination in drawings.
  • Maintain organized and uptodate documentation of all drawings.
  • Ensure that drawings are appropriately labeled, versioncontrolled, and accessible to the project team.
  • Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure they meet Malaysian Mechanical and Electrical project standards.
  • Verify that drawings align with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and milestones.
  • Communicate progress and potential delays to the Senior Project Engineer.
  • Provide technical support to the engineering team through the preparation of detailed drawings and schematics.
  • Assist in resolving designrelated issues and challenges.
  • Ensure that drawings align with the project scope, specifications, and requirements.
  • Communicate any deviations or discrepancies to the Senior Project Engineer.
  • Stay informed about the latest drafting technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Undertake any other tasks related to the job requirement as directed by superiors.
  • Adapt to changes in project requirements and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements and skills

  • Diploma or degree in Document Management, Project Management, or a related field.

SALARY
negotiation depending on level of education, competency, years of experience and personal capabilities.
