Purpose of the Job


Parked under the newly set up 'Shared services' segment of the Group to be stationed in Pekan Nenas, Johor Bahru.

The position is to provide remittance services to the Group's companies.

This position requires to bridge the communication between internal and external party with good understanding of the needs / flow / operations of both parties and maximise the profitability (in remittance flows) to the company while execute the tasks in efficiency & timely manner to ensure smooth operations.


Key Accountabilities

  • Managing Remittance / Payments with internal / external parties
  • To ensure all the remittance / payments have been executed according to the request.
  • To follow up and ensure all payment advice / proof of payment are obtained and filed electronically.
  • Familiar with the process of remittance of external parties and able to response quick upon any request / enquiries arise by all parties.
  • Digitization of finance documents & correspondences
  • To ensure all electronic documents and related correspondence are filed in tidy manner / proper naming, and easily accessible by Finance team.
  • Filing of finance documents
  • To ensure all documents are filed in tidy manner / proper naming, and easily accessible by Finance team
  • To prepare payment instructions on various platforms for approval for release of payment by the finance manager
  • To ensure payments are executed in a timely manner.
  • Work done on deadline
  • Any other duties related to the role or as designated by the team
  • To ensure smooth operations of the team.
  • Always standby for any adhoc duties and complete the tasks in efficiency manner.
  • Work done on deadline

Skills and Knowledge
Educational & Professional Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM Relevant Experience
  • Experience in bank teller or in jobs handling high volume of payments
Personal Characteristics & Behaviours

  • Sensitivity to numbers
  • Patient and meticulous
  • Take Initiative
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally in both English and Chinese (need to communicate to colleagues in both Singapore & China).
  • Ability to negotiate the exchange rate

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
RM2, RM3,000.00 per month

Ability to Commute:

  • Pekan Nenas (required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Pekan Nenas: Relocate before starting work (required)

Willingness to travel:
