Marketing Strategist, Asset Management Marketing

Be part of our Global Marketing team to drive asset class marketing strategy that is aligned with our business priorities for institutional and wealth customers.

The role:
  • Reporting to the Global Director, Brand and Media (based in US), you will create, position, and set the strategic direction of product and asset class related content and communications.

Key Responsibilities and Success Factors:

  • With directional guidance, define marketing strategy for assigned asset class and investment team(s), you will help manage product marketing collateral and create investment specific oriented thought capital and marketing collateral.
  • Ensure appropriate branding, style, appearance and tone for product/boutique and adherence to legal regulations and industry practices regarding the marketing of investment management products and distribution of literature.
  • Monitor industry and competitive environment through research and review of market intelligence and insights to proactively identify new opportunities, trends, emerging issues, or threats as it relates to products and services relevant to assigned asset class/boutique(s). Collaborate with product management, marketing communications, and channel marketing teams to understand gaps and opportunities to build awareness of products and services through strategic communications targeted to defined audiences.
  • Partner with product management, investment boutique stakeholders, and work closely across the marketing team to execute and prioritize strategic projects.
  • Act as an asset class/investment team champion when partnering with stakeholders on product materials, positioning, capabilities messaging, presentations and targeted communications; lead client experience around product messaging (i.e. align and shape product content for channel campaigns).
  • Perform other jobrelated duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing or related field with at least 5 years' work experience, preferably in financial services industry.
  • Strong ability to understand and drive the creation of product related marketing and communication strategies across the various product platform.
  • Knowledge of the financial services market and products is a plus.
  • Strong abilities in the areas of stakeholder management, problem solving, project management, decision making and time management.
  • Strong language and communication skills (verbal and written) are essential.
  • Detailoriented, excellent planning and time management skills.
  • Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
