Responsibilities:

Assist in the collection, processing, and analysis of geospatial data using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software and tools
Collaborate with the Geospatial team to create and maintain accurate and uptodate spatial databases
Contribute to the creation of maps, charts, and visualizations using geospatial data to support decisionmaking processes
Assist in conducting spatial analyses to answer specific research questions or solve spatial problems
Support the development and maintenance of geospatial data standards and documentation
Assist in the preparation of geospatial reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

Diploma in Geography, Geospatial Sciences, Environmental Science, Computer Sciences or a related field
Strong understanding of GIS principles and concepts
Proficiency in using GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and geospatial tools
Familiarity with spatial data formats (shapefiles, geodatabases, etc.) and coordinate systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data manipulation and analysis
Effective problemsolving skills, with the ability to approach spatial challenges logically
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
