Job Overview

1.

Curriculum Planning:

  • Develop and implement a creative and ageappropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
  • Plan and organize daily activities that promote learning, socialization, and individual development.

2.

Classroom Management:

  • Create a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and promote positive social interactions among students.

3.

Instruction and Engagement:

  • Facilitate learning through play, structured activities, and handson experiences.
  • Encourage active participation and engagement in class activities.

4.

Assessment and Progress Monitoring:

  • Conduct ongoing assessments of students' development and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's achievements and areas for improvement.

5.

Individualized Support:

  • Identify and address the unique needs and learning styles of individual students.
  • Provide additional support or challenges as needed to ensure each child's success.

6.

Parent Communication:

  • Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents through regular meetings, newsletters, and conferences.
  • Address parent inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

7.

Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with other preschool staff to create a cohesive and supportive teaching team.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant teaching certification or licensure as required by local regulations.
  • Previous experience working with preschoolaged children.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Job Type:
Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Salary:
From RM1,500.00 per month
