1) Assemble, prepare, and set up equipment prior to filming, which may include tripods, monitors, lighting, cables, lenses, and headphones.

2) Test and clean equipment to ensure proper working condition.

3) Visit the location ahead of time to get a feel for the environment, identify potential issues, and decide on best camera placements.

4) Participate in rehearsals to practice the shots as per the director's vision.

5) Work closely with the director, floor manager, and other crew members to understand the specifics of the shoot, such as sequences, transitions, and key moments.

6) Compose shots as per the director's requirements, taking into consideration the rule of thirds, leading lines, depth, and other compositional elements.

7) Execute movements like panning, tilting, tracking, zooming, or using stabilizing equipment when necessary.

9) Follow the action, anticipating where it's going to be next, especially crucial for live events.

10) Adhere to cues from the director or floor manager, switching shots or making adjustments on-the-fly during live streaming.

11) Make sure that the visual narrative is coherent, especially when working with other camera operators.

12) While primary responsibility lies with the audio engineer, a camera operator with an onboard microphone should be aware of audio issues and notify the relevant team if issues arise.

13) Although live streams are broadcast in real-time, camera operators might review footage for feedback, learning, and improvement.

14) Dismantle and safely store equipment after the shoot.

15) Regularly clean and maintain equipment to ensure its longevity and optimal functioning.

16) Participate in debriefs with the production team to discuss what went well and what can be improved for future broadcasts.

17) Keep up with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in camera operation and live broadcasting.

18) Ensure that all equipment is safely secured to prevent accidents. Understand the safety protocols, especially when working on location or in challenging environments.

19) Work harmoniously with the entire production team, including directors, producers, audio engineers, lighting technicians, and others.

Salary:
RM2, RM4,000.00 per month
