Site Supervisor

The Opportunity:
Works independently under close supervision, responsible for maintaining accurate records of all inventories. Handle all paperwork and work flows as per procedures. Help drive inventory accuracy performance by assisting in the identification of root causes and recommending corrective actions. Monitor inbound, storage, and outbound inventory to account for it accordingly in the company's records. Account for all defective or damaged products and dispose appropriately including HazMat disposal process and procedures. Calculate and present performance metrics to management periodically.
Avantor is looking for a dynamic leadership role that manages a dedicated team for a single customer.
The Site Supervisor will manage on-site service associates and assist Site Manager in managing on-site service programs such as stockroom/POU JIT delivery, chemicals management, laundry management, equipment asset management, and other support services requested by customer.
Key focus areas are people management, operational execution, and administration. Specific responsibilities include facilitating customer and team meetings, staffing/recruiting, talent assessment, workforce management and safety compliance.What we're looking for:
- _ Education:_ College degree strongly preferred
- _ Experience: _2-4 years in a customer facing environment - material handling/inventory/customer service; or 5 years+ experiences in Production and Supply Chain management

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience managing associates, acting as a team lead or project lead is required
- Superior organization and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities

- Evaluate ongoing team performance against Scope of work (SOW) and service level agreement (SLA) requirements. Manage customer feedback to implement changes/expansions of service with your team
- Coach and motivate your team to meet/exceed performance goals
- Share accountability for site KPI's in the areas of Service, Cost and People
- Identify, create and implement valueadded solutions to the Avantor VWR team to drive efficiencies and operational improvements
- Recognize, suggest, and implement additional service opportunities on site to meet Business Development goals
