The Impact You'll Make

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for transitioning tests on new products from Pilot to Manufacturing, resolving any manufacturing floor test issues, improving product quality, and reducing the test cycle time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Experience with vacuum, pressure, Radio Frequency (RF) Power delivery, and gas delivery systems.
  • Work cross-functionally with design engineering and the pilot group for new product development.
  • Ensure PDR / NSR deliverables are in place including test fixtures, test procedures, test specifications, and control charts.
  • Conduct validation on all new test software and fixtures.
  • Have a working knowledge of SAP functions for manufacturing.
  • Define, design, document, build, calibrate, troubleshoot, and support all manufacturing test fixtures.
  • Software skills to create/modify manufacturing test scripts.
  • Improve product quality through test first pass yield and trend data. Analyze factory non-conformances and field escalations for root cause and corrective action.
  • Resolve test issues cross-functionally with Suppliers, Supplier Engineering, Pilot Manufacturing, and Design Engineering.
  • Presentation skills to present test fixture designs, test processes, or spec changes at engineering design reviews.
  • Define and implement metrics to lead test process improvements.
Requirements
  • BS / MS in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in Test Engineering/Development environment with in-depth knowledge of C#, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Technical writing skills to communicate and document designs and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills with proven track record in managing technical projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and proficient in electrical circuit testing & troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good knowledge in Semiconductor capital equipment especially Wafer Fab Equipment (WFE) i.e., Etch, Deposition, and Clean Equipment.
