As a Planner Buyer at Melexis, you will be the interface between the company and its suppliers/subcontractors, translating Melexis requirements into orders and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

• Determine demand for BOM components at assigned suppliers and follow up on inventory and open orders.
• Manage the phase-in/phase-out of products in production and new products coming from development or business units in cooperation with in-house partners.
• Be involved in the preparation and execution of Logistic Service Level Agreements (e.g., stock, price, cycle time, cost, capacity agreements) according to the company's supplier strategic roadmap.
• Communicate delivery changes and resolve supply issues by working with in-house partners and/or suppliers.
• Ensure that logistic data from suppliers/subcontractors is up-to-date and available at all times.
• Prepare, analyze, and validate FCT cycles to suppliers, follow up on capacity challenges, and identify possible shortages.

Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, or engineering, or equivalent based on experience.

Thorough knowledge of supply chain planning methodologies and processes, including basics of Master Production Scheduling, Sales & Operations Planning, and Material Requirement Planning.

Previous experience working with ERP systems, with Oracle experience preferred.

Strong customer service focus to enhance satisfaction.

Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills to effectively deal with complex problems.

Able to set long-term planning, prioritize tasks, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills to transfer information to relevant stakeholders in a timely and proper manner.

Experience working successfully in teams across multiple sites is an advantage.

Fluent in English; Chinese speaking knowledge is an advantage.
