Steward Supervisor

Minimum Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in F&B or wash ware, with a strong understanding of ware wash skills and chemical handling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and head stewards in managing the stewarding department, ensuring all tasks are consistently carried out to standard.
• Regularly inspect daily assignments and ensure cleanliness standards in the back of the house meet the hospital's requirements.
• Ensure daily washing of all pots and kitchen equipment, adhering to standard procedures and safety protocols.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, aprons, and hair nets, during washing or cleaning operations.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department and hospital, actively engaging in and implementing best practices.
