About the Role

Responsible for the execution of the Bank's Business Continuity and Outsourcing program which includes operationalizing the frameworks, standards, policies and methodologies in alignment with the business objectives of the bank.

What will you do:

  • Ensure the execution and update on Business Continuity and Outsourcing related materials and documentation (Policy and Procedures) are completed on timely basis
  • Ensure compliance with Regulators and Group (KSA) requirement and the documentations develop/produce to be in line with and industry best practices and reviewed on a timely basis
  • To reduce, avoid and mitigate risks associated with a disruption of operations, business continuity strategy in safeguarding bank's assets and reputation
  • Perform periodic reviews and tests of established Crisis Management, Business Continuity Plans and Outsourcing policy and procedures, reporting to ORC, BCMC, BRMC and Board to enable informed decision-making
  • Develop and maintain training and awareness program and training materials
  • Carry out or update Business Impact Assessments, Risk Assessments and Plan in ensuring BCM strategies and objectives are robust and effective
  • Manage and coordinate Crisis Management, Business Continuity exercise, Outsourcing Risk and performing oversight roles for Bank wide and regulatory Disaster Recovery program
  • Provide guidance and support to business and support units to ensure the successful management, identification, measurement and monitoring of the bank's business continuity and outsourcing activities
  • Facilitate annual Outsourcing Assessment that include vendor evaluation, scoring and analysis to ensure bank and regulatory outsourcing standards are met
  • From time to time to undertake any specific assignments from the Head of Department/Unit

Skills and experience you possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree / Professional Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Banking, or any related field
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years' working experience in Operational Risk and Business Continuity Management
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of Operational Risk and Business Continuity Management
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
