About Our Schools Group

About The Job:

We are on the lookout for a qualified, inspiring, and experienced English Teacher to join our innovative secondary teaching team starting August 2024. Following the Cambridge English Curriculum in KS3 and preparing students for iGCSE English examinations in KS4, you will be part of a high-functioning team with strong leadership and effective development programs.

The ideal candidate should be resourceful and innovative in their teaching approach, playing a crucial role in maintaining our educational standards and nurturing the students' passion for English.

ISP Teacher Key Responsibilities

  • Follow high-quality English teaching practices and policies for exceptional learning outcomes
  • Emphasize the significance of English language and literature in students' overall development
  • Utilize data to support students effectively and provide additional interventions where necessary
  • Act as a Form Tutor and ensure curriculum coverage and progression
  • Set and uphold high expectations for student progress and achievement
  • Develop students' study skills and foster independence in their learning processes
  • Create a strong partnership with parents to involve them in the students' learning journey and progress
  • Facilitate effective communication between colleagues, parents, and students
  • Celebrate student achievements and assist in organizing school events
  • Contribute to school marketing activities

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Relevant degree and teaching qualification (e.g., Bachelor's Degree with teaching qualification, PGDE/PGCE/PGCEi/Diploma in Education)
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience preferably in a private international school offering the IGCSE Curriculum
  • Creative, inspiring, patient, resourceful, and energetic
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a must
  • Highly responsible, dedicated, hardworking, and a team player
  • Committed to continuous learning and development
