We are a local group of SMEs in Singapore in various industries including Property Development, Construction, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Hostel Services, Commercial Cleaning Services, investment, etc.

What you will be working on.

  • Providing legal advice or opinion to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Reviewing, amending or drafting business contracts and letters, where necessary.
  • Working hand-in-hand with other members of the Legal and Compliance team on any compliance or legal-related matters worldwide with a primary focus on Singapore or Malaysia.
  • Responsible for supporting the Group's legal and corporate secretarial functions.
  • Assist in the preparation of briefs to the management team of TG Group and external counsel, affidavits, legal documents, certifications, forms, etc for legal cases before courts or tribunals.
  • Organize and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing system.
  • Track and review a broad spectrum of legal issues on the Group's commercial business and operational activities with a broad overview of contractual commercial and legal arrangements.
  • Support the Group's level and management and HR personnel in the review and assessment of potential management risks, particularly in contracts, intellectual property, licensing, employment, data protection and privacy law, etc.
  • Access and review relevant corporate policies, actions, and governance and sound practices to complement business operations.
  • Required to delve into litigation issues that require attention to detail and a quick turnaround on specific matters, including but not limited to attending Small Claims, Tribunal hearings, or other court hearings as the Group's representative as may be required.

What we are looking for

  • LLB with a background in any discipline preferably in Contract Law, Corporate Law, or Litigation experience.
  • At least 3 years PQE either in private practice in a reputable law firm or as an in-house counsel in a similar industry.
  • Proficient in documentation skills and ability to draft procedures and training manuals.
  • Committed and meticulous with a good eye for details.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command and writing in English. We have a business that would require communication in Mandarin and Bahasa.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
  • Analytical and logical with the ability to work and make decisions under time pressure.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Keen interest in development & construction and technological solutions industries.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and ability to adapt quickly to new IT tools

Other Information:

Location: KL Eco City (Accessible by LRT, KTM and Buses)

Working days: Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 5.30pm
