About the Company:
Randstad is partnering with a leading global business processes outsourcing company seeking an Accounting Assistant Manager to join their team. The role involves supporting the accounting manager in overseeing daily accounting operations, managing a small team of 2-3 accounting professionals, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement.About the Job:
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership and Supervision:
    • Manage and mentor a team of 2-3 accounting staff.
    • Delegate tasks and ensure team members meet deadlines and performance standards.
    • Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
  • Accounting Operations:
    • Assist in managing day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
    • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Compliance and Audit:
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Assist with internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and responding to audit inquiries.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function.
    • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline accounting processes.
    • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a BPO or similar environment is a plus.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is preferred.
