We are looking for IT Engineers to elevate our Virtualization and Storage Solutions team and help us deliver cutting-edge technology and shape the digital future for various industries.

Your contributions:

As our IT Engineer, you will:

• Manage virtual environments using VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms.
• Optimize and troubleshoot virtual infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Manage virtual machine (VM) lifecycle, including provisioning, cloning, snapshot management, and decommissioning.
• Storage Solutions:
  • Manage storage solutions using Nasuni and Isilon technologies.
  • Configure and optimize NAS and cloud storage systems to meet performance and capacity requirements.
  • Monitor storage performance and capacity, adjusting as needed to ensure efficient data management.
• System Administration:
  • Perform regular system maintenance, including updates, patches, and backups.
  • Ensure the security of virtual and storage environments by implementing best practices and security policies.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Technical 3rd Line Support:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for virtualization and storage systems.
  • Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues and implement solutions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Performance Optimization:
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, implementing optimizations to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain capacity planning strategies to anticipate and meet future demands.
  • Utilize performance metrics and reporting tools to maintain optimal system operations.

Who you are?

To thrive in the role, we believe you share our passion for technology and learning, and that you probably are:

• Experienced in Virtualization Management:
  • VMware Administration: Designed, implemented, or managed VMware Horizon and Citrix On-prem and Citrix Cloud environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Hyper-V Implementation: Deploy and manage Hyper-V environments, focusing on network configuration, storage integration, and system optimization.
• Proficient in System Administration:
  • Windows Servers: Manage Windows server environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Comfortable in a client-facing and networking role.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to address technical challenges.
• Excellent Presentation and Communication skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written Malaysian and English.
• Willingness to work different shifts to support 24/7 operations.

Formal requirements:

• Advantage with certifications such as VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V, Nasuni, and Isilon (Storage), Windows.
• Master the English language, both written and oral.
