An exciting opportunity as Head of Sales is now available at a well-respected global retail company in Malaysia. You'll report directly to the Managing Partner, making this role perfect for a top-tier Sales professional.

About the Head of Sales Role:
This key position involves developing and executing sales and marketing strategies for our line of fully automated coffee machines. You'll be in charge of creating marketing blueprints, managing sales channels, and fostering relationships with crucial customers, both individual consumers and industry experts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep knowledge of the coffee market, a successful sales and marketing track record, and a genuine love for coffee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute sales strategies and marketing plans to meet sales goals.
  • Supervise sales channels to optimize sales opportunities in physical stores, online platforms, and commercial sectors.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and maximize potential opportunities.
  • Hire, train, guide, and manage marketing and sales teams to meet staffing objectives.
  • Develop annual budgets, allocate resources, and ensure the sales team hits their quotas.
  • Identify and nurture marketing opportunities, understand consumer needs, spot market trends, and suggest system enhancements to achieve company objectives.

To excel in this role, you should collaborate effectively with senior business development teams and possess a strong coffee passion.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
  • Results-oriented, with 10-15 years of experience in sales or marketing management. Previous luxury and premium hospitality industry involvement is a plus.
  • 5+ years of people management or leadership experience.
  • Strategic mindset with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and proficiency in multiple languages are desirable.
