Your primary responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with senior managers/directors/partners on various tax advisory projects. Demonstrate sufficient expertise in advising clients on aspects of corporate tax, real property gains tax, and stamp duties.
  • Support clients in their applications for tax incentives or grants.
  • Lead cross-border projects working with local and international colleagues as well as business associates.
  • Foster client relationships to sustain and strengthen partnerships.

Essential criteria

  • Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields such as Accounting/Finance/Tax or Possess Professional Qualifications (ACCA/MIA/MICPA) with at least 5 years of experience, preferably in a professional services setting.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both written and verbal English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (advantageous).
  • Exhibit strong organizational abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Self-driven and capable of working autonomously.
  • A team player with a willingness to shoulder responsibilities collectively.
  • Display an amiable demeanor and a proclivity for learning, e.g., engage in career development and training initiatives.
  • Possess a good command of Microsoft Office suite - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
