Job Title: Mechanical Integrity Technical Specialist
We are expanding our organization and looking for passionate individuals with a technical mindset to drive change in our business. This position is for an experienced mechanical integrity technical specialist for fixed equipment and piping in support of our business lines in Product Solutions or Upstream facilities globally.
About the Role
- Manage and analyze thickness inspection data to ensure reliable operations.
- Develop and optimize inspection plans to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Conduct integrity assessments and assurance activities, including Fitness-for-Service (FFS) evaluations and Remaining Life Studies.
- Monitor and surveil integrity parameters to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve integrity-related issues.
- Develop and implement data analytics and digital tools to optimize work practices and improve efficiency.
- Provide technical mentoring and guidance to junior engineers in the team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards and best practices to continuously improve our processes and procedures.
About You
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering or other related disciplines.
- Minimum 4 to 10 years of relevant experience in refinery or petrochemical or upstream oil and gas facilities related to mechanical integrity or inspection and corrosion disciplines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes, with a strong desire to continuously improve and innovate.
