Developers/Programmers (Information & Communication Technology)

The Senior Specialist, IT Solutions brings expertise in business, process, and technology to teams responsible for assessing, designing, delivering, and supporting IT solutions for clients and customers. This role entails ensuring quality input and deliverables from external solution team members, managing relationships, and resolving conflicts when needed. The Senior IT Solution Specialist is adept at establishing goals and strategies in specialized areas.

Job Responsibilities

Key tasks include:

  • Supporting and engaging with stakeholders such as IT/Business Partners and external/internal communities to align solution strategy
  • Providing guidance on solution architecture in the designated area of responsibility (e.g., Shopfloor, IT, SCM, Ops, etc.)
  • Offering direction in IT processes (e.g., Operating Model, Governance, System Development Life Cycle)
  • Guiding on relevant technologies and concepts (e.g., Azure, Cloud Tech, .NET, SAP/ABAP, etc.)
  • Executing solutions technically, from requirements gathering to deployment

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT / Computer Science with 4 to 6 years in a similar role in an MNC environment
  • Extensive knowledge & experience in IT processes (e.g., operating model, governance, IT delivery lifecycle)
  • In-depth understanding of select business processes (e.g., Shopfloor, IT, SCM, Ops, etc.)
  • Strong expertise in relevant technologies and concepts (e.g., SAP, xAAS, .NET, Azure, etc.)
  • Capability to make informed decisions, guide team actions, and align with strategy
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and innovation abilities
  • Effective relationship management and negotiation capabilities
  • Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall development/project methodologies
  • Advanced knowledge of Celestica IT architecture strategies
