Job Description:

  • Oversee projects involving strategy planning, formulation and development covering analysis, insights development, competitive analysis, multi-year planning, business development, strategic partnerships and mergers and acquisitions
  • Lead the execution of key strategic initiatives on wide range of initiatives (both strategic and operational)
  • Analyse and synthesise large datasets to develop in-depth analysis and recommendations that provide actionable insights
  • Ensure strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendations
  • Build financial models to evaluate the financial impact of projects
  • Build relationships and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
  • Perform qualitative and/or quantitative research on market and competitive landscape and industry benchmarking as well as analyse and interpret data to identify market trends to facilitate decision making

Person Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent
  • Senior Executive level with minimum two (2) years working experience in consulting, strategy, tech, or equivalent
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen. You will need to be comfortable with drawing insights from complex, large data sets to make strategic recommendations to help the business grow
  • End-to-end problem-solving. Ability to take complex problems and break them down into actionable solutions, backed by data insights
  • Have thorough understanding of a P&L with basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proven ability to work within fast-paced and dynamic work environments
  • Possess strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills including ability to ask relevant and probing questions
  • Ability to balance detail with quick execution
  • Proficient in MS Excel i.e. you know the difference between vlookup and index match; and in MS Powerpoint as you'll be required to present insights in a thoughtful and concise manner
  • Good command in English & B. Malaysia. Mandarin will be a plus point
