VP of Procurement

Job Description
Reporting to the Global Head of Procurement, you will manage teams across HK, China, and India on supplier management, cost and quality control, as well as price and contract negotiation. You will build value-adding dashboards on supplier performance management, streamline supplier base, and review sourcing strategy. You will work closely with the design team in Europe on new product development and ensure a smooth supply of parts. You will take the lead in global business projects and ensure the smooth integration of business processes within the supply chain organization.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree holder and relevant experience in supply chain management, sourcing, and procurement
- Sensitivity in numbers, data analytics, and ability to plan strategically based on insights and data
- Flexibility and agility to cope with a complex and hybrid organization
- Ability to think strategically at a high level while being hands-on and very attentive to details
- Relevant product experience in accessories, electronics, toys, or other consumer product categories
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Flexibility in traveling and also attending morning/evening global calls
