Description

At Mercedes-Benz Mobility, we want to further advance our claim to a Best Customer Experience. Together with Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars & Vans, we are developing the "Retail of the Future" initiative that meets today's requirements of an online & offline direct marketplace. We support the entire Customer Journey, from Finance Quotation to Contract Activation. We are integrated into the process and system landscape of Mercedes-Benz Cars and operate worldwide. As TouchPoint Owner for Online and Offline Direct Sales, we need your support to be able to integrate all systems efficiently and with high quality for all Overseas Markets. The overall target is to bring best in class direct sales channel for vehicle sales incl. Leasing, Financing and Insurance. The incumbent will be part of the newly formed Retail of the Future - Rollout Factory Team based in Malaysia.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Together with the Market Manager and Process Owner, the Touchpoint Owner is responsible for enabling the technical integration of the various systems/products in the online/offline direct sales landscape in the relevant markets.
  • The Touchpoint Owner drives detailed and dedicated requirements engineering and product integration based on continuous alignments with the markets and all relevant stakeholders in order to drive the touchpoints integration.
  • Continuous exploration and operational definition of requirements (based on process blueprint and maintenance of existing configurations).
  • Together with Market Manager, identify with market legal, compliance and data protection aspects and ensure clarification (in detail) to transfer it into integration relevant requirements definition and integration steps.
  • Knowledge and understanding of high-level processes and IT landscape in live markets and of existing Blueprint and Headquarter product landscape is crucial.
  • Consolidate business requirements in Confluence, then present to HQ Product Owner (e.g. DSPnext, eContracting etc.) and then in a second step to BAs for them to be able to derive User Stories and use them for implementation.
  • This role also takes care of all Markets new demands, aligns with Product Teams and other Markets and finalize requirements for the implementation.
  • Handover of defined demands/requirements for implementation to IT Team.
  • Continuous alignment with Brand Partner, BA's and test manager, Product Owner from CTO, Market Manager, markets and Process Manager.
Qualifications

What you need... Q ualification profile

  • University degree or equivalent with focus on business administration.
  • Ideally, several years of professional experience as a Product Owner/Touch Point Owner, as well as in tech-oriented projects for software development/implementation and project management in general.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing Digital systems.
  • At least 4 years preferably with multi markets Product Owner experience.
  • Proven competency in stakeholder management and top leadership communication in market, region and HQ
  • Proven end-to-end understanding of automotive/finance processes, systems and technologies in Sales, Credit and/or Contract Operations

  • High analytical and conceptual competence
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Intercultural competence. Able to communicate in a Global environment successfully and the ability to reduce complex subjects to succinct information
  • Experience in agile project work (SCRUM, SAFE etc.)
  • Atlassian products Confluence/Jira
  • Business fluent in English (German is a plus)
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • A tackling, pragmatic approach combined with founders and start-up mentality
  • A great amount of empathy and the ability to put yourself in the shoes of our internal and external customers
