Job Summary: We are looking for a meticulous and responsible cost accountant to join our team at Cosmos Personal Care (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for managing and analyzing costs associated with production, inventory, and financial transactions within the organization. He or she will ensure accurate cost calculations, compliance with accounting standards, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct timely inventory and analyze discrepancies to ensure alignment with accounting records.
  2. Understand production processes and refine accounting procedures for accurate cost allocation. Promote standardized cost accounting practices by visiting production workshops to collect and organize cost-related data.
  3. Independently prepare cost analysis reports within six working days of each month. Investigate cost anomalies and recommend improvements.
  4. Reconcile sales output and revenue with accounting records by month-end.
  5. Promptly record inventory-related invoices and monitor prepayments and estimated costs, following up on outstanding invoices.
  6. Record material transactions and track contract-related data.

Job Qualifications:

  1. Education: Diploma or higher in a finance-related field.
  2. Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of finance experience in manufacturing enterprises, with at least 1 year in a similar position.
  3. Skills and Abilities: Proficient in various accounting standards, financial management, tax regulations, economic law, and enterprise management. Fluent in Mandarin to effectively communicate with HQ.
