In Malaysia, we have significant involvement in oil and gas production operations and chemical product marketing. Our Kuala Lumpur center hosts a global business and technology hub providing advanced IT and engineering support to ExxonMobil's businesses worldwide.

Your Role in the Team

With a rich history of innovation, we are dedicated to addressing the challenge of meeting energy demands while reducing environmental impacts. We are expanding our manufacturing process control organization and seek plant information engineers who thrive in dynamic, collaborative global teams. The role involves supporting ExxonMobil manufacturing sites with tasks like data workflow, processing, and accessibility. Currently, we are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Digital Solutions Engineer to join our team in Menara ExxonMobil, Kuala Lumpur.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide operational support to Manufacturing Sites, including work processes, upgrades, and projects for refineries and chemical plants.
  • Optimize tools and features for business teams' decision-making processes.
  • Drive digitalization of the manufacturing environment by collaborating with the Engineering Division on digital improvement opportunities.
  • Offer application consultancy across a range of platforms and technologies at the site.
  • Identify how data visualization can provide business value and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and maintain strong partnerships with key contacts.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information Technology.
  • Experience in database management, Ms. Excel macros, data visualization, analytics, and automation.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, troubleshooting, and analytical skills with a desire for change leadership.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team with an understanding of operational aspects such as monitoring and security.
