Our client is a leading global company in the industry, seeking a highly skilled professional to join their team as an Accounts Receivable/Credit Control specialist.
Job DescriptionAs an Accounts Receivable/Credit Control specialist, you will be responsible for executing audit reviews across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, ensuring compliance with global policies on revenue recognition and candidate compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all placements within APAC comply with global policies on revenue recognition.
- Ensure all APAC placements meet countries' legal and internal policies in relation to candidate compliance.
- Responsible for ensuring all documentation over underlying processes are up to date and complete.
- Provide assistance to the manager, O2C Managers and Regional Finance Directors as required.
- Review placements and customer connect database to identify any placement that does not have documented offer and acceptance from the client and the candidate in reference to start date and package.
- Inform consultants that revenue recognition has not been met.
- Ensure that where it is a requirement in each country that fee rates are included in the client's confirmation.
- Review placements to ensure that all placements agree to the respective countries' agreed candidate compliance policy.
- Provide a list of all placements progressively at month end where revenue recognition has not been met to the local Managing Director.
- Review the list on D-5 to D3 to ensure that placements are excluded from revenue or have been completed correctly for revenue recognition.
- Conduct compliance calls to China candidates as part of audit exercise.
- Provide report for compliance call result.
- Fluency in Mandarin is a must-have as you would be supporting Greater China.
- Ideal previous experience in shared services, compliance review, and revenue recognition activities.
- Relevant experience either gained from a mid-tier or multinational background.
- Willingness to learn and develop as a professional member of the finance team.
- Ability to read and speak Chinese/Mandarin well.
- Hybrid working environment.
