Job Details

The role is centered around overseeing various functions of Information Technology as delegated by the Manager. Main responsibilities include leading a team of software developers and analyst programmers to support digitalization initiatives, enhance business processes, improve student experiences, manage data quality, and oversee research, accreditation, and compliance.

  • Act as the liaison between IT and stakeholders for new solution implementations and technology adoption.
  • Provide leadership in the IT Application Development team's operations, including resource management, performance evaluation, and task assignment.
  • Optimize processes and utilize technology and automation to enhance operational efficiency and boost productivity.
  • Manage requirement scope and specifications, and participate in the evaluation of application platforms and professional services procurement.
  • Coordinate and supervise the entire software development project lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment.
  • Support the Manager, IT, in implementing and ensuring compliance with IT-related policies.
  • Ensure system compatibility and adherence to the organization's Standard Operating Environment.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with application vendors through regular status updates and issue reviews.
  • Assist in monitoring and evaluating OHSMS program performance, ensuring compliance among stakeholders.
  • Oversee incident investigations and coordinate necessary corrective actions.
  • Conduct oneself professionally, reflecting the organization's values consistently.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team member, offering timely input, advice, and support as needed.
  • Generate reports and provide accurate information as requested by management.
  • Perform any additional duties as directed by the Manager, IT, Director of Administration, or authorized personnel.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognized institution.
  • 3–5 years of relevant work experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role leading a team.
  • Hold at least one active IT certification related to projects, service delivery, or software development (e.g., Agile, CAPM/PMP, Scrum, Prince2, Six Sigma).
  • 3 years of relevant experience in two of the following areas: project management, software development, business application support, or low code/no-code platforms.
  • Proven experience in project management with successful in-house application development projects.
  • Familiarity with workflow and business process management tools, process automation, and low code/no-code development platforms.
