Work you'll do

  • Offer administrative support related to risk management:
    • Establish client Accounts and Opportunities
    • Conduct Know Your Client (KYC) checks for client and engagement approval
    • Initiate conflict check procedures
    • Assist tax professionals in resolving issues during client and engagement approval
    • Follow up on pending matters concerning client and engagement approval
    • Collect data and prepare reports for risk management reporting
    • Update and document risk processes
  • Support in various ad hoc administrative requests and tasks assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Diploma in accounting/risk management or relevant experience
  • Capability to conduct research and analyze findings
  • Demonstrate initiative within defined processes, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines
  • Precision in work with a focus on quality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
  • Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Proficient in IT, including database usage. Training will be provided for in-house risk management tools
  • Effective collaboration in diverse teams with a culture of inclusivity and appreciation for individual contributions
  • Prior experience in an accounting firm is advantageous
  • Basic knowledge of risk environment elements (e.g., KYC and client onboarding processes/policies) relevant to professional services is a plus
