As businesses expand globally, managing employment issues becomes increasingly complex. Deloitte Tax's Global Employer Services (GES) practice offers comprehensive strategies to enhance global mobility programs efficiently.

GES tax professionals handle cross-border tax compliance matters and develop tailored compensation and benefits programs to meet clients' global needs while managing tax efficiency and costs.

Work you'll do

  • Manage individual tax compliance matters for clients and address employer and employee responsibilities
  • Oversee tax return compliance workflow and consulting projects
  • Ensure services align with agreed service levels and scope
  • Deliver top-quality client service and support for international assignment programs
  • Establish and nurture trusted relationships with international assignment program contacts
  • Leverage global technology to streamline program administration and efficiency
  • Collaborate as part of a team across different Deloitte Tax service lines or subsidiaries
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Taxation from reputable universities or Professional Qualification (ACCA/MIA/MICPA) with a strong academic record (CGPA 3.0 and above)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience with expertise in expatriate tax issues, domestic and foreign tax compliance, and tax equalization processes
  • Experience in supervising, developing staff, and demonstrating leadership qualities
  • Client-focused with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent project management, presentation, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively at all levels
