Adcote Matrix International School (AMIS) is an established international school, located in Seremban, Malaysia. AMIS is seeking a person who can provide emotional support and guidance for international students who are finding difficulty in transitioning to a new country or who finds it difficult to copy with the pressure of school life.

We are seeking professionals who:


• are UK-trained or equivalent (PGCE or QTS) and has relevant experience of the Cambridge International curriculum and National Curriculum for England and Wales;


• have at least three years of experience in counselling in a secondary school and is registered with the Department of Education (DfE) or equivalent;


• have up-to-date knowledge on the Cambridge International curriculum and National Curriculum for England, Wales, as well as understanding university application;


• have high expectations of learners with appropriate inspiration and challenge;


• encourage and contribute to a well-organised and inspiring learning environment;


• experience of integrating technology into learning and teaching;


• have a growth mindset to all aspects of school life;


• passionate and willing to go above and beyond for the school community.
