  • Under RACI, Operations Engineer is identified as Responsible for all operations and support service of base.
  • Accountable for ensuring crews are adherence to People, Process and Equipment with 10 – 70 process solutions.
  • Accountable for operation adherence under Wireline Services Procedure QP-03.
  • Adherence to service quality with process and procedure orientated.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  • To ensure all tasks carried out in accordance with the clients and company service quality.
  • To familiarize (and understand the objective) with working program for all jobs and also able to produce as per process and procedure stated in the Deleum Wireline Maintenance Standard (DWMS), Wireline Services Procedure (QP-03) and Workshop Procedure (QP-05) as specific and company HSE and Quality policies in general.
  • Perform pre briefing session with wireline crew prior mobilize to offshore.
  • Perform post briefing session with wireline crew immediately after demobilize from offshore and or onshore.
  • To familiarize with other equipment and process such as AIS (EMR / MPLT / Echometer / Surface data acquisition system) and able to adhere with Work Aid guideline, DWMS, QP-03 and QP-05.
  • Responsible to ensure all equipment / tools are in good condition as per Routine Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Quality Check process which contribute to Slickline and AIS equipment.
  • Adherence to People, Process and Equipment linkage of process.
  • Responsible to any Operation Alert e-form raise by offshore crew for Job Related issue and non – Job Related issue within 24 hours.
  • Accountable to the CAPA report written by the Responsible Person which compulsory to be completed and communicated with FSPC region for closure.
  • Accountable to ensure the daily operation report with other forms and documents (which stated inside the document spot check list are deliver completely by offshore crews as responsible person for all those documents.
  • Responsible to ensure all documents are completed as per check list.
  • Responsible to ensure the daily operation report with other forms and documents are deliver to Document Controller within 2 days after post job briefing with crews.
  • Accountable to ensure the communication between offshore crews and maintenance team for any equipment and or maintenance issue.
  • Accountable to ensure the communication between offshore crews and operation manager for any operation issues.
  • Whenever required, the Operation Engineer need to be ready for offshore jobs. i.e., AIS Logging job, offshore visit.
  • Responsible for Safety, Quality of the offshore crews during operation.
  • Accountable to deliver the summary report from offshore crew on the equipment, job progress status to FSPC region, Operation Manager, Base Manager, and Maintenance Engineer.
  • Seek consulted from FSPC region, Technical Advisor, Operation Manager, Base Manager, Maintenance Engineer and or Maintenance Supervisor for troubleshooting, rectifying issues occur under People, Process and Equipment through phone call, online meeting.
  • Operation Engineer is accountable to ensure the issues are solve within time frame given with the consulted by FSPC region, Technical Advisor, Base Manager, Maintenance Engineer and or Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Accountable to ensure the offshore crews are meet the competency program by PBCP as responsible for the program.
  • Operation Engineer is responsible to communicate with client for updates in term of People, Process, Equipment.
  • Consulted for all inputs in regards the Customer Feedback Log. i.e., NPT, NCR, operating hours, manhours.
  • Accountable of the Technical Bulletin by FSPC are delivered and shared and brief to all offshore crews.
  • Basic knowledge on industry standard – API and ISO.
  • Basic knowledge on maintenance process and equipment.

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE JOB

  • Engineering Degree (Bachelor Science in Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering);
  • Min 3 years in the Oil & Gas industry; preference in well construction / intervention / well integrity practices
  • Ability to work effectively, with minimal supervision, in a team environment
  • Exhibit high level of initiative, good interpersonal and communication skills as they are required to work with many other groups and offshore personnel
  • Knowledgeable with general risk management aspects associated with offshore oil and gas operations (specifically process safety risks).
