Position Title

Head of Finance Working Location Based in KL or JB Salary Range Up to RM22,000 Role Summary As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Head of Finance ('HOF') will report to the Board of Directors and assume a strategic role in the overall financial, commercial and strategic relations. The HOF will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the Company and the Group, including direct responsibility for finance, accounting, financial governance and reporting, forecasting, strategic planning, costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relations, partnership compliance, private and institutional financing, mergers and acquisitions. Roles And Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short, medium and long-term strategic financial objectives.
  • Ensure credibility of the group finance in ensuring high level of financial governance and by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
  • Familiar with Bursa Malaysia and Securities Commission's requirements, guidelines, listing rules and regulations.
  • Assist the Company to set up proper corporate governance frameworks, risk management and internal controls procedures that are aligned with Bursa Malaysia and Securities Commission's requirements.
  • Familiar with MIDA tax incentives e.g. pioneer, industrial automation allowance, etc.
  • Monitor banking activities and ensure adequate cash flow to meet the needs of the Company and the Group.
  • Take hands-on lead position in treasury management, project and commercial financing, trade facilities, bank guarantee and other required instruments.
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new strategies and regulatory action.
  • Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of all business activities and develop tax strategies to support overall Company and the Group policies and objectives.
  • Prepare investment and financial proposals for the Board. Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting.
  • Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities including fund raising, merger & acquisition exercise.
  • Liaise with external financial services organisations to ensure the Group remains adequately funded in terms of debts, equity and working capital requirements.
  • Assist in identifying new funding opportunities and determining the cost effectiveness of prospective funding modalities.
  • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with the applicable local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
  • Monitor present and future capital requirements, review and propose major financial policies on dividend, fiscal and investment.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the Group.
  • Any other relevant duties assigned by the management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or professional certificate (ACCA or equivalent) in Accountancy.
  • More than 5 years of experience in financial leadership roles, strong manufacturing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of industry-specific financial regulations, tax laws & incentives, accounting standards, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term financial sustainability.
  • Willing to be based in either Johor Bahru or Kuala Lumpur.
