Help Desk & IT Support (Information & Communication Technology)

Join our team as a Help Desk & IT Support specialist and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and distribute daily morning reports to relevant users
  • Provide PC support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and application issues
  • Assist users with trading platform settings and related matters
  • Support clients with trading platform setup and issues
  • Coordinate with vendors for building maintenance work
  • Generate monthly company utilities billing through the procurement system
  • Perform monthly updates for Windows and applications on users' PCs
  • Regularly inspect and maintain user room facilities, such as lighting and water supply
  • Assist the supervisor with any ad hoc tasks as assigned
  • Participate in trading system mock runs from HQ or Bursa, typically on Saturday mornings
  • Report and follow up on trading platform issues with the HQ support team
  • Source PC hardware for users as needed
  • Configure and set up necessary BTX applications and Kentrade settings on newly purchased PCs
  • Perform ad hoc operational tasks as assigned by the supervisor
  • Perform ad hoc filing tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, particularly in troubleshooting hardware, software, and application issues. Experience in trading platforms and financial applications is a plus
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in PC hardware and software troubleshooting
    • Familiarity with Windows operating systems, including updates and patch management
    • Knowledge of trading platforms and applications such as BTX Apps and Kentrade
    • Basic understanding of network configurations and vendor coordination
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with users, clients, and vendors
