We are looking for a proactive Test Engineering Intern to join our team and assist in developing a system to visualize, analyze, and optimize product performance. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to apply skills in data analysis, SQL database management, and visualization techniques to tackle industry challenges. You will independently lead this project, supervised by a senior product engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Extract required data from SQL database and other sources as needed:
    Utilize SQL queries to extract relevant data from our production databases.
    Work with product and data engineers to understand product needs and database schema and optimize queries for efficiency.
    Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the extraction process.
  2. Construct suitable visualized charts to present the data:
    Use TIBCO Spotfire to create interactive and insightful visualizations.
    Develop dashboards that effectively communicate trends and growth curves of production performance metrics.
    Customize visualizations based on user requirements and feedback from stakeholders.
  3. Analyze and identify abnormal cases with statistical process control:
    Apply statistical methods to analyze trends and variations in production data.
    Detect anomalies and deviations from expected performance using statistical process control techniques.
    Implement automated alerts and notifications for significant deviations in production metrics.
    Provide supportive data to help investigate root causes of abnormalities and recommend corrective actions.
  4. Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliverables:
    Participate in project meetings to gather requirements and clarify objectives.
    Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business analysts to align data analysis efforts with project goals.
    Communicate progress updates and collaborate on solutions for technical challenges.
  5. Present findings and recommendations based on data analysis:
    Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing key findings from data analysis.
    Present findings to stakeholders, including management and project sponsors.
    Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve production performance and efficiency.
Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electronic Engineering, System Engineering or a related field.
Strong academic background and solid understanding in SQL, data processing/analysis, visualization tools, and practical experience in implementing data analytic solutions.
Good proficiency in programming (JavaScript/Python/R) and database (SQL) languages, in addition to familiarity with relevant libraries and frameworks.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.
Minimum of 3 months internship.
