• Ensure all patients are given safe and high-quality perioperative care.

• Act as a scrub or circulating nurse during patient's surgery and ensure all OT procedures are strictly adhered.

• Ensure all medical equipment is in good working conditions and to report if they are faulty to the superior.

• Ensure all surgical instruments are in good working condition and to request for replacement if damaged or faulty.

• Ensure that sterilization of all surgical instruments follows the correct sterilization guidelines and their storage and usage as per the organization's SOP.

• Ensure that all surgical supplies and drugs for surgeries are available and within the expiry date.

• Able to apply 8R principles of medication when serving or administrating medication and injection to patients.

• Ensure that the resuscitation trolley is sufficiently stocked, all drugs are within the expiry date and the defibrillator is working and battery charged.

• Maintained up to date and accurate inventory on all consumable items, drugs, equipment and instruments in the OT

Founded in 2009 by Dr. Manoj Sajnani, KL Eye Specialist Centre was one of the first ambulatory eye centres that operated independently outside a hospital environment. At the time of inception, the centre comprised of a single ophthalmologist practicing in a small office in the heart of busy Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. As our community grew, so did we.
