YOU NEED :

  • Proven experience as cook.
  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
  • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
  • Excellent physical condition and stamina.
  • Able to work as a team player.
  • Able to commit 6 days of work per week.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Able to communicate in Malay and English.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • In charge of cooking and preparing the dishes.
  • Maintain excellent food quality.
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
  • Responsible of the kitchen and surrounding area in conditions that meet the safety and health standards of the authorities.
  • Remove any hazards and ensure safety in kitchen and also check for any defects in the kitchen and equipment's.
  • Keep kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standard.
  • Responsible for food and menu planning, food costing and quality control.
  • Monitoring inventories and assist in purchasing supplies and food from approved vendors.
